AT&T posts record internet-subscriber growth, raises 2026 earnings forecast

MarketWatch reports AT&T added 442,000 net fiber customers and 327,000 fixed-wireless subscribers in the third quarter, its strongest internet-subscriber growth on record. Adjusted earnings of 65 cents a share topped the 60-cent FactSet consensus, and AT&T raised its 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share forecast from $2.25–$2.35 to $2.40. Bloomberg reports 379,000 mobile phone additions, below the 387,410 analysts in its data expected.
