Sheng Siong shares drop as much as 9.4% to a one-year low after Q3 results
Sheng Siong reported Q3 net profit of S$44.6 million, up 1.9% year over year, while revenue grew 6.2%.
TLDR
The Singapore supermarket operator’s stock fell to S$2.42 in intraday trading on November 2, its lowest level since November 2025. Sheng Siong credited its revenue growth to a larger store network and improved same-store sales. Management said sustained promotions could pressure revenue and margins. The planned Johor Bahru-Singapore rail link could also encourage cross-border shopping and intensify price competition.
