India’s textiles ministry plans to identify 5,000–10,000 new exporters in two to three years

The Economic Times reports that India’s textiles ministry plans to identify 5,000–10,000 new exporters across districts over two to three years. The ministry is working with states on export roadmaps that call for better infrastructure, market access and support, with the aim of increasing India’s share of the global textile market.
