Tata Communications plans Rs 4,350 crore investment in 10,000-km AI network

The Economic Times reports Tata Communications announced plans to invest Rs 4,350 crore in around 10,000 km of AI-ready connectivity across India. The expansion is planned in three phases between FY30 and FY36, starting with the Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad-Chennai corridor before extending to other data-center hubs. The company says the project would add about 6 petabits per second of network capacity.
