Two ships sink near Strait of Hormuz after separate projectile strikes

Reuters reports that the Singapore-flagged GFS Pride and Antigua and Barbuda-flagged Cape Dao sank near the Strait of Hormuz after separate projectile strikes. GFS Pride’s 21 crew members escaped without injury; one Cape Dao crew member was killed in its September attack. Singapore’s maritime authority said a second container ship, GFS Giselle, reached safe anchorage after sustaining hull damage.
