UK gilts climb as oil and natural gas hit new lows for the day

Bloomberg reports UK gilts led European bonds higher as oil and natural gas prices fell to new lows for the day. Benchmark UK 10-year yields were almost 7 basis points lower. It says the moves followed reports that EU officials did not expect a US ban on diesel exports and that Qatar was holding meetings with the US and Iran over the Middle East conflict.
