BSNL equipment is claimed to meet TRAI quality-of-service benchmarks

The Economic Times reports that Tejas Networks and C-DoT say their equipment deployed at BSNL meets or exceeds TRAI’s quality-of-service benchmarks and complies with 3GPP standards. BSNL had asked the regulator for relaxed or phased compliance with proposed new rules, citing an obligation to source equipment domestically that private operators do not face.
