Quest Diagnostics discloses system breach, believes certain patient records were accessed

Quest Diagnostics said it discovered unauthorized access to its Quanum Lab Services Manager on October 21 and believes certain patient records were accessed. The Associated Press reports that how many patients and which records were affected remain under investigation. The Washington Post reports Quest paused the affected system and, as a precaution, several other tools it said were not affected.
