Slovakia plans to revive cooperation forum with Russia after five years

POLITICO reports that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said the forum is scheduled to meet in Moscow on November 25, which would be its first meeting since 2021. A Russian government note obtained by POLITICO, which the outlet could not independently verify, says Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár agreed to the meeting in an August video call. The note lists gas, oil, nuclear fuel and the treatment of Russian athletes as discussion topics.
