DP World secures 15-year concession for Chittagong Port terminal in Bangladesh

AGBI reports that DP World signed a 15-year concession to operate and maintain a container terminal at Bangladesh’s largest port. UNB reports that Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir said the New Mooring Container Terminal agreement was aimed at increasing capacity and efficiency, and called descriptions of it as a “sell-out” baseless.
