Fed plans one strategy meeting in 2027, expects two in 2028

Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh laid out a plan to keep eight annual FOMC meetings while devoting one in 2027 to strategy rather than a rate vote, CNBC reported. He expects two strategy meetings in 2028, not a finalized schedule. Warsh said what the Fed would share after those meetings was not yet obvious.
