Amazon plans more than 300,000 US holiday hires, UPS 100,000

Reuters, in a report published by The Economic Times, says Amazon plans to hire more than 300,000 workers for the US holiday season, its first increase in seasonal recruitment in three years. Good Morning America reports UPS plans to hire 100,000 workers and Spirit Halloween plans a record 52,000 store associates. Amazon says that starting in 2027, seasonal employees working at least 30 hours a week will receive the healthcare benefits offered to regular full-time employees.
