Meta's Q3 revenue and Q4 forecast midpoint reportedly exceed estimates

Meta brought in $64.6 billion in third-quarter revenue, above the $63.3 billion expected, Yahoo Finance reported on Oct. 21. Forbes reported the same revenue figure and said it was up 26% from a year earlier.

Yahoo Finance put Meta's fourth-quarter revenue guidance at $73 billion to $76 billion, against a $73.57 billion Wall Street estimate. The forecast's $74.5 billion midpoint is above that estimate. The range is guidance for the fourth quarter, not revenue already earned.

Yahoo Finance reported that shares rose after the results. MarketWatch's Tomi Kilgore put the rise at 4.2% in after-hours trading.
