Reuters reports that Transport & Environment’s analysis found electric trucks cheaper to own and operate than diesel models in six major EU markets, which account for almost half of the bloc’s new truck sales. The group linked the shift in part to a surge in diesel prices tied to the 2026 Iran conflict.
