G-SHOCK x BAKLAVA GA-2100 “Desert King” - my latest pick up
After shipping delays, my phase 2 purchase of the G-SHOCK x BAKLAVA GA-2100 “Desert King” has arrived. Honestly, I'm very impressed. Photos don't do the colours justice. It's more brown than flesh-coloured, the bullbars and buttons are a deep gray metallic finish, and the red
Citizen Navihawk 40mm Slide Rule bezel
Great little EDC for me right now. I didn’t have a green dial yet, and didn’t have a flight watch because I always thought them too “busy”. Once I learned to use the slide rule dial, I found myself reaching for that instead of my phone for simple calculations.
Longing for a california dial...
I love watches, I have many of them, but there is one style of dial I am missing and would love to get - the california dial. A weird mix of roman and arabic numerals that somehow is pleasing to me. Obviously the very best version would probably be the Panerai Radiomir, but my
69 Omega Flightmaster
This just became available to me. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it but I have have never purchased a watch this old. Does anyone have any tips on buying older watches from private sellers?
Just got my Christopher Ward The Twelve! Extremely impressed with the quality of this thing.
This is my first really ‘nice’ watch (I.e. — worth more than ~$200) and WOW does this thing impress. I knew it would be a step up from what I have been wearing, but I was immediately surprised by the quality of this thing. I got the SS version so it’s got some nice weight to it a
Tried on the RG Cubitus recently.
Many dismiss this new line. And I can understand why people are not a fan. But I have to say… after trying on this smaller size and in the flesh. It changed my mind. What does the watch fam think?
Tudor Pelagos FXD - slightly different from the rest of the Pelagos family
I like what Tudor has done the past decade, and the FXD is no exception. Jumped on this as soon as I could after its release, and while I don't wear it for all occasions, it's always a pleasure to bring out. I use this with a Nick Mankey Designs strap probably 99% of the time,
Tudor BB58 925
Bought this back in the spring of 2021, and it's still going strong. Lovely watch, the all-matte surfaces are great and toned down, and I personally enjoy the taupe dial a lot.
Forged Carbon Lume Tonneau Skeleton Mechanical Watch
Forged carbon is a type of carbon fiber that is very strong but lightweight. Manufacturing process: Small fragments of carbon fiber are placed into a mold together with luminous resin, and then compressed and "forged" at high temperature. The mottled effect is a unique feature pr
Serica 5303-2
Been rocking this Serica for the better part of a year and still absolutely love it. One of my favourite dive watches to date. And it's so comfortable on the wrist!
Scurfa Treasure Seeker
My daily. Nice enough to have the features I like. Cheap enough not to worry about beating it up.
My Alpinists
The “red” alpinist models with the name on the dial is a personal obsession of mine
