Technology didn’t make us stupid. It made thinking optional.
At some point, we stopped using tools to extend our minds and started using them to replace effort. GPS for memory. Feeds for curiosity. Algorithms for decisions.
The scary part isn’t AI or screens. It’s how quickly we adapt to not thinking deeply anymore. When everything is instant, reflection feels slow. When answers are everywhere, questions feel unnecessary.
The solution isn’t quitting tech or going off-grid. It’s learning when to disengage and reclaim attention intentionally. Thinking is still a skill. Most people just stopped practicing it.
If you’re into unpacking why modern life feels mentally exhausting and how human behavior is changing under tech, you’ll probably enjoy the ideas I share.
