Canada’s e-Prescribing Shutting down

PrescribeIT was Canada’s secure connection between prescribers and pharmacies. It was promised to replace faxing but failed to do so for multiple reasons. It di however greatly reduced reliance of the archaic fax technology offering a more reliable and secure method of communication between health cares silos.

Instead of expanding a good system, they decided to shut it down. 🤦🤷‍♂️
