UPDATE: 21 states and DC join the FTC’s lawsuit against Uber

21 states and the District of Columbia have joined the FTC's lawsuit against Uber, alleging that the company charged consumers for the Uber One subscription without their consent, billed them before the end of a free trial, and shared misleading claims about savings. The amended complaint also includes a request for civil penalties for alleged violations of the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act and state laws.
