New research: AI models tend to reflect the political ideologies of their creators

Researchers found that LLMs, such as GPT-4 and Llama, exhibit ideological biases that align with the cultural and political values of the regions where they were developed. Models from Western countries showed a preference for liberal values, while those from China leaned towards state stability and economic control. The language used to prompt the models also influenced the ideological stance of the responses, highlighting the importance of transparency in AI systems.
