Can’t believe I’m saying this, but… Don’t pay for Weather Apps. (My Take)

Yes, I’m talking to you CARROT and AccuWeather.

weather.gov, weather.com, Apple Weather, Google Weather, among others are entirely free and many offer the same perks as CARROT for free.

I’m not hating on CARROT Weather, but they charge way to much for a weather app all things considered, $60 for a family plan for a weather app is beyond insane. Just the idea of paying for something so important with a subscription just hurts a little.

Even with the great customization, features, UI, and everything else about CARROT it’s great. But just everything that CARROT locks behind a paywall shouldn’t be behind a paywall at all.
