YouTube Music finally fixes one of its biggest friction points
Google has finally rolled out cross-device queue synchronization for the YouTube Music app, allowing users to start a playlist on one device and pick up exactly where they left off on another. This feature, long available on Spotify, was previously limited on YouTube Music, only allowing users to resume from the beginning of the last song played on a different device. The update enables true 'handoff' functionality, with the mobile app now highlighting the track left on during the last session on a desktop/laptop. This enhancement aims to provide a more seamless listening experience across devices.
