iRobot files for bankruptcy

iRobot, the maker of the Roomba robot vacuum, has filed for bankruptcy protection and will be acquired by its Chinese contract manufacturer, Picea Robotics. Despite the financial challenges, iRobot assures that there will be no disruption to its product support and customer programs.
