Google rolls out Gemini 3.1 Pro, which it says is “a step forward in core reasoning”, for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers; the .1 increment is a first for Google

Google has announced Gemini 3.1 Pro, a new model designed for complex problem-solving. This update, the first .1 increment from Google, builds on the Gemini 3 Pro model introduced in November and Gemini 3 Flash. Gemini 3.1 Pro features an upgraded core intelligence, achieving a 77.1% ARC-AGI-2 score, more than double the reasoning performance of 3 Pro. It is available in the Gemini app, NotebookLM for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and through various APIs for developers.
