Rebranding fail: Microsoft Office is now called Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft has transitioned the Microsoft 365 (Office) app to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, integrating Copilot within the app. The change reflects the app's enhanced productivity features with AI integration. Existing users will see the update across web, mobile, and Windows platforms. Work and school account users can access Copilot Chat at no additional cost, while personal account users need a Microsoft 365 subscription. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app serves as an everyday productivity tool with access to various Microsoft 365 applications, whereas the standalone Microsoft Copilot app offers a conversational chat experience.
