large private firms kill innovation

back in the day AT&T tried to ban modems. They were so big & powerful, they were able to get the DoD to stop them being broken up as a national security issue. Inage THAT! A monopolistic firm able to ban modems! Now the firms that exist because of modems are the monopolistic tossers killing innovation & service.
