Technology didn’t make us smarter. It made us faster at being distracted.
We’ve got AI writing code, phones doing math, apps predicting what we’ll click next… yet most people can’t sit with one thought for more than 10 seconds without grabbing their phone.
That’s not a coincidence. Modern tech isn’t built to help you think, it’s built to keep you scrolling. Every notification is a tiny dopamine hit. Every algorithm is optimized for engagement, not clarity.
The scary part isn’t AI replacing jobs. It’s humans slowly outsourcing attention, memory, and decision-making to machines and calling it “convenience.”
Tech itself isn’t evil. But if you don’t consciously control how you use it, it quietly controls how you think.
Real question:
👉 Is technology actually improving your thinking, or just numbing it?
Curious to hear what side you’re on.
