100% you’re right. Across multiple iCloud accounts over the last decade, I’ve had tons of sync issues. Some fairly major (lots of conversations just disappearing on one device, and then a few days later it disappears at across all the other devices). I consider iCloud to be complete trash.
@growing_daniel The most absolute basic functionality around sync and continuity simply does not work. Maybe 75% success which rounds to zero and when it fully breaks recovery is a nightmare.
@growing_daniel Every update the iOS does just makes it work shittier. Make an iPhone with a swappable battery and an aux Jack.

@growing_daniel They are safer than you think because even without Jobs everyone else is still meaningfully worse. You've seen Teams? Google's 5 messengers? I had to start using Windows sometimes. It's shocking to me how incompetent is. Genuinely makes me angry.
