As someone who had been an engineering manager in the past, it's laughable for anyone to compare AI agents management to people management. Engineering management is as close to this as The Minions and Gru is to the real word (and AI agents *are* like those Minions, seriously)
I'd put this more as tech lead skills transfer well. It's about planning the work; delegating the right parts; checking in on the results... orchestrating! I'd wager tech leads have a lot of these skills (that EMs ofc also need)
