@Noahpinion It's fine to want lots very smart people to come to the US. It's more controversial to want to keep out all other immigrants. And it is a bit hypocritical to want to do this when you yourself would be among the people being kept out.

@elonmusk @paulg Immigration to the US should require basic English literacy and passing of a rudimentary civics test. And it should be limited in time before the person needs to pass the full blind citizenship test, renounce other citizenship and become a full US citizen.

@elonmusk @paulg The most important variable regarding immigration is cultural cohesion. And there are plenty of those who are culturally cohesive that would be an asset to our economy. India is rarely a source for them.
