Inc42 reports that Upstox launched US stock investing in India after receiving IFSCA approval, with access to stocks including Apple, Tesla, Amazon and Alphabet. Users can start with $1 through fractional investing—buying a portion of a share. According to Inc42, the service operates through GIFT City and follows the RBI’s Liberalised Remittance Scheme, which allows residents to remit up to $250,000 per financial year for permitted overseas transactions. The publisher also says Zerodha, Groww and Angel One are preparing to offer international investing.
