Shopify's third-quarter profit and revenue rise as merchant volume grows
Shopify's revenue rose 32% to $3.74 billion, while gross merchandise volume climbed 29% to $119.15 billion.

Net income reached $462 million, or 36 cents a share, up from $264 million, or 20 cents a share, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings of 49 cents a share topped analysts' 47-cent estimate, while revenue fell just short of their $3.75 billion forecast.
