Anthropic starts its own drug discovery alongside six research partnerships
Anthropic says a Claude-assisted CAR T-cell design was about 70% shorter than a standard version in early lab work.

Anthropic says it has partnered with six organizations developing medicines and started its own drug discovery, including programs for rare childhood forms of muscular dystrophy. Its October 27 update describes early lab work on cancer-treatment designs and food-allergy antibody candidates, as well as Claude-assisted manufacturing-record reviews and regulatory drafts. Anthropic says most of the research is still preclinical, with drugs generally not yet being tested in humans.
