Pebble OS plugin support is in the works for apps and watchfaces
Android Authority reports Eric Migicovsky's team is working on plugin support; JavaScript code would run in Pebble's phone app.
TLDR
Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky's team is working on plugin support for Pebble OS, Android Authority reports. The proposed JavaScript code would run in the background of the Pebble phone app. Developers could use plugins to show weather or stock prices, or control music or smart-home devices. Android Authority says this setup should have no effect on watch battery life. Its report gives no release date.
