MATS Opens Winter 2027 Applications With Auditing Stream
Applications opened for the 12-week Winter 2027 fellowship that includes a new auditing and governance stream.
The MATS program posted that its Winter 2027 applications are open for a fully-funded 12-week fellowship running January 19 to April 10 in Berkeley and London. The program offers $6.4k monthly stipends plus $8k-16k monthly compute. Patricia Paskov announced a new stream on AI auditing, evaluation standards, and governance, to be mentored by her and Miles Brundage. Other researchers including Nathan Lambert and David Africa also posted they will mentor fellows. Applications close September 6.
