He worked constantly to become his firm's top AI user.
So 100/0 is crazy. Full stop. Second this goes far beyond "parenting duties" this man is spending all of his free time locked in his office instead of spending idk let's say 1/2 hours in the evenings and a day on the weekend watching his kid grow up.. Also this is coming from a guy whose job it is to return the fund 100x of course you don't see a problem with this. I'm sure he adds a ton of value to the portfolio though.
@almostcmb I bet the 6 months or however long he took to self-isolate and focus entirely on career progression will pay immense dividends on a 5-10 year time horizon. He's lucky to have a wife who can see the big picture and enable it.
@buccocapital Because unlike finance or law, neglecting family to become a top AI user at a company just sounds pathetic and retarded
@Austen It’s only bleak to the slovenly, unambitious, and uncreative.
@jessegenet Thank you. I’ve been thinking this for hours.
“There’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that has arisen from a breakthrough technology. My spouse and I worked together as a partnership so that I could pursue it, and it seems to be paying dividends. I’m grateful.” “Wow man, that’s pretty bleak.”
I've actually completely stopped speaking to my wife and 3 preschool-aged kids. When they ask me something, I point to the "TOP AI USER: Q2 2026" plaque I got from Deloitte and they all clap

What a loser! Why doesn’t this guy just neglect his family in a role that’s accepted by society, like a lawyer or someone in finance
smdh you should just be using claude from your phone while watching the kid. learn to multi task. never compromise
Please I am begging you guys to touch grass and spend time with your kids
@buccocapital The child will still grow up the next 10 years. But the memories with Opus centering a div will be forever
