On the geopolitical elements, the core ideas (from machines of loving grace etc) are still there, but the rougher/more aggressive edges smoothed down a bit. One could argue it's cosmetic, but I think it does matter. And as I've been critical of Amodei in the past on this dimension, I'll note this as a positive.
