I wish I could abandon all Apple products and have something super simple for my laptop and phone - where I specifically select what I want, and I’m not forced to have anything I don’t want - in addition, these devices should alert me when I have too many apps and applications and prompt me to limit what I have. My iPhone (the latest one), often cannot even perform the most basic tasks (freezes), yet Apple has time to redesign the photos to ensure I’m miserable any time I need to deal with the camera or photos. Less is More - there should be a camera icon and separate video icon, firstly - to simplify the camera function. Also, apps such as @cnbc which have not updated their video player in over a decade should be forced to keep up with the times or be sanctioned - speaking of, their whole tech team should be sacked yesterday. Also, the phone can read our minds and give us ads, but the spell check is horrible - it’s shocking it doesn’t know what I’m trying to write and then saves misspellings of unidentifiable words. It almost seems like it’s on purpose to drive one to frustration. The device should be totally trashed - it’s trash.
Based on current M3 Ultra pricing (top configs ~$9.5k for 512GB vs ~$6.8k base with 96GB), the RAM jump to 1.5TB on a future M7 Ultra Mac Studio would likely push the total to $20k–$40k+. The memory upgrade alone could easily add $10k–$20k+ since Apple’s high-end unified memory pricing scales steeply. Insane pro workstation territory! What are you building with that much RAM?
@Jason @tim_cook @Apple AI will run locally on Apple Hardware for 95% of people. All others with Data Centers will go Bankrupt. OpenAI will be a memory. AI will generate Zero ROI.
@Jason @tim_cook @Apple @Jason "All in" on a company that ships a slightly thinner phone every year and calls it innovation. Bold strategy.
@DanielleFong who gets a mortgage when you can setup you own ai lab https://x.com/Hesamation/status/2076730590414467440/photo/1
