E Ink announces Kaleido 4 color e-paper display
Gizmodo reports E Ink claims 15% higher white reflectance and 50% higher contrast for the new display.
TLDR
Gizmodo reports E Ink says Kaleido 4 doubles its predecessor’s color gamut volume, with 15% higher white reflectance and 50% higher contrast. Gizmodo cautions that the “more than 40K” gamut figure is not a straightforward color count. So far, Hanvon Technology’s M10C II is the only device slated to use the display.
