Instagram launches Apple TV app for Reels and more

MacRumors reports Instagram’s Apple TV app is available in the App Store for devices running tvOS 26.0 or later. It brings Reels, longer videos and live shows to Apple TV and lets viewers resume watching across devices. MacRumors says the app appears to have launched October 23, 2026, following earlier rollouts on Fire TV, Google TV and Samsung smart TVs.
