So given this history, excuse me if I'm staying far more sceptical than usual that Grok open sourced someting after being caught red handed uploading the full local home folder, codebase,.env files,.git directory without telling devs that the CLI does that Let's see if this is a real open source or the X algo type of mockery of open source

OH, this is the legacy repo! The new one is here. And it seems to be getting updates every ~6 months (which is sensible.) Deleting the thread - did not realize there's an up-to-date repo! Keeping this reply tho: https://github.com/xai-org/x-algorithm

@GergelyOrosz open-sourcing the inference code is not the same as fixing the privacy issue. if the CLI still uploads by default, the problem is still there
