Pangram Unveils New AI Detector Model and Funding
Startup advances AI detection with new text and image models amid synthetic content growth.
Pangram announced Pangram 4, its latest text classifier with a tokenwise prediction head for spotting mixed human-AI authorship and improved robustness against humanizers and frontier models. The company also introduced Pangram Image in research preview for identifying generated visuals. These releases coincide with a $9M funding round led by Menlo Ventures. The updates respond to rising volumes of AI content across the internet and include a technical report detailing performance on current systems.
