Reddit announces For You and Following homepage feeds
TechCrunch reports that For You mixes joined-community posts with recommendations, while Following shows only posts from joined communities.
TLDR
The Verge reports that Reddit announced the two homepage feeds on Oct. 28, 2026. For You combines posts from joined communities with interest-based recommendations; Following contains only posts from joined communities. TechCrunch says the feeds were beginning a global rollout over the following weeks and would reopen on the last-viewed feed. Reddit had recommended posts outside joined communities before this change.
