That's the feeling of inevitability Anthropic wants to instill. Nevermind that GDM is beyond them in AI for life sciences (likely ByteDance too). "We'll eat the entire economy. Now choose: at our table or on the menu?". I think we'll have good enough base models for Pfizer tho.

For now. Anthropic has actually been approaching tons of life sciences companies to ask them to sign on for their effort to build a biology focused model. A lot are saying no but in the end I suspect they will give up fantasies of building their own models.

@teortaxesTex Eli Lilly is partnered with nvidia and they have a huge private database. That will be an interesting test case

@woke8yearold Yes, this makes sense I hope Nvidia's open source project gets stronger, and its obvious business extension is proprietary models with domain data. Microsoft seems to be pushing for the same. Karp's recent shtick is also aligned.
