Inc42 reported on September 11, 2026, that Ultraviolette Automotive was set to raise an additional ₹373.04 crore in its ongoing Series E round, with investors including Yali Capital and TDK Ventures. The publisher described plans to invest more than ₹1,000 crore over the next five years, including around ₹800 crore in the upcoming BIGGA Factory. That facility would initially have capacity for 250,000 vehicles annually, potentially scaling to 500,000. Inc42 also says Ultraviolette is expanding its existing Bengaluru plant to an annual capacity of 50,000–60,000 units.
