Cal AI founder Zach Yadegari joins TechCrunch Disrupt's Builders Stage

Cal AI co-founder Zach Yadegari will speak at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 about turning viral consumer growth into retention and a durable business. TechCrunch says the photo-based nutrition app reached more than 15 million downloads and $30 million in annual revenue in less than two years before MyFitnessPal acquired it in December 2025. Cal AI remained a standalone app, kept its seven-person team and left Yadegari in charge. The fireside chat is scheduled for the Builders Stage during Disrupt, which runs October 13 to 15 in San Francisco.
