GamesBeat reports that Rockstar Games plans to release the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI in the first quarter of 2027. The publication says it confirmed the window with four anonymous industry sources familiar with the studioโs plans. Rockstar did not respond to its request for comment, so the PC timing remains unconfirmed by the company.
A shorter wait for PC players
Rockstar has scheduled the console edition for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. If the reported January-to-March PC window holds, PC players would wait roughly two to four months after the console launch.
That would be a much faster port than Rockstar delivered for Grand Theft Auto V. GamesBeat notes that GTA V reached PC in April 2015, about 19 months after its September 2013 console debut.
What remains unconfirmed
Rockstar has not announced a PC edition or a release date for one. GamesBeat also cautions that the studioโs quality standards could affect the final timing. Until Rockstar makes an official announcement, the first-quarter window should be treated as a sourced report rather than a fixed launch date.
