European Commission's Element Pro trial draws internal criticism

Neowin reports that European Commission officials criticized Element Pro during a trial of the UK-based messaging tool. The Commission introduced it as a backup in case Microsoft Teams becomes unavailable, but officials questioned its added value. Teams remains in use. Element CEO Matthew Hodgson told Politico the software is in a trial phase and said teething issues were expected.
