Acer's Predator Atlas 8 G3 Extreme slated for November 1 US launch at $1,299.99

The Verge puts the Intel Arc G3 Extreme model at $1,299.99, exclusively at Best Buy on November 1. The Windows 11 handheld has an 8-inch 120Hz screen and 24GB of RAM. The Verge reports Acer said preorders sold out and online orders will reopen on launch day. Android Authority says the price makes gaming performance, battery life and heat important questions for real-world testing.
