Pro tip for handling Fable refusals
Use /effort ultracode with Opus and instruct it to use Fable sub agents in workflows
Haven't hit the classifier limits since, seems to work great
The technique routes sub-agents using the /effort ultracode command.

Positive users praise the tip for bypassing Fable AI refusals with Opus sub-agents as a smart effective hack while negative users call the workaround security theater and criticize evading the model's safeguards.

@shawmakesmagic Hi Shaw! Curious - how do you manage multiple coding agents and switch between them while working on the same codebase without losing session context?
I've been building something that solves exactly this problem. Thought it might be interesting for you to try:

@shawmakesmagic This does not work. All the sub-agents will switch to Opus silently. You can check by clicking the sub-agents, and you will see all the Fable 5 change to Opus 4.8 shortly.

@shawmakesmagic Sounds like you're describing prompt engineering a jailbreak to work around the actual jailbreak detection, which is just layers of abstraction cosplaying as a feature.

@0xBoldPanther I just log out and log back in in Claude Code, its fine but annoying
In Eliza we have multi-account management, so you can hook up 20 codexes and 20 claudes and let it rip and it grinds through all your accounts and keeps them alive etc

@shawmakesmagic cousin, please, you’re gonna get it banned again

@shawmakesmagic If Fable keeps refusing, that's probably the signal you should rethink what you're asking it to do rather than engineer around its guardrails

@shawmakesmagic Curious if this actually works around Fable's actual constraints or just delays the refusal—what's the actual success rate you're seeing?

@costa_taty2 @shawmakesmagic Bro did you just leak your private key, what slop is this

@shawmakesmagic 4d checkmate bro this is nice

@shawmakesmagic I tried to pin Fable to subagents (with Fable as the main loop in Ultracode) but all subagents keep overriding to Sonnet.

@DaddyGhost @costa_taty2 @shawmakesmagic Dude is prolly a drainer.

@shawmakesmagic wild that this works classifier’s probably asleep at the wheel again

@shawmakesmagic How do you know there isn't a silent fallback?

@shawmakesmagic Should you use fable to construct the prompt to give to opus first so you can burn even more tokens?

@shawmakesmagic smart hack, works like a charm

@shawmakesmagic can confirm, just discovered this earlier.

@shawmakesmagic Haven’t hit any classifier limits yet
What you hit them on?

@shawmakesmagic Sounds interesting. I'll definitely give the multi-account feature in Eliza a try.
Does it have a feature to manage sessions and Git worktrees, or is it more like a harness where you give it a task and it just grinds until it's done?

@shawmakesmagic Do we just accept that they fuck us over and pay the sub?
What do you say shaw bro
