So the message I am getting is that I can't use Fable to further accelerate AI research and education.

No company will decide that for me.

Just an absolutely sad day for the research community.

As a developer, I already felt ignored, and now this.

Damn it!

A lot of you know that I often don't share much personally.

But this has crossed a line, and we just can't be quiet about it. This is too important to let slide.

It just feels wrong that the people targeted are the same ones who have been pushing important and useful applications and use cases of AI for science and education.

@omarsar0 Your work in AI reasoning, agentic systems, research, and education has created tremendous value for AI. It's disappointing when organizations fail to recognize or support the people actively driving innovation and knowledge sharing

The community should raise its voice

@HabibMourad1983 Disappointing day indeed. But we will continue our democratization efforts. This is just a bump in the road for now. Lots of exciting stuff coming on our @dair_ai platform to push on the frontier of AI research and education.

@omarsar0 the frustration is real but the dependency on a single platform for research tooling was always the fragile part

build on open infrastructure or expect exactly this

@omarsar0 @dair_ai It’s exactly why we need @HootiBrowser

decentralized AI research infrastructure

@omarsar0 feels like one of those moments where a platform picks optics over actual usefulness

developers always get the short end when they shape the narrative

@omarsar0 this reads like a founding moment for something else. what changed exactly?

@omarsar0 Man, the gatekeeping in AI research is getting ridiculous

whats stopping them from just letting u build?
